Disco jelly 🪩

Published by

I’ve not been in fungi mode this week and have spent most of the time in an office. But today I noticed this little gathering of what might be lemon disco on a bench under an oak tree.

I’ve found this to be a common and consistently urban fungus. It will grow on fences (this was on a bench).

There is a chance it could be common jelly spot but I think the colouring isn’t orange enough and the fruiting bodies are too cup-shaped. Not sure!

Thanks for reading.
